I like to PUG a lot and I must say I get into more good groups than bad groups, but of course the bad ones are much more memorable and sometimes entertaining. The following has all happened to me at one time or another.

You know you're in a bad PUG when.....

10. As seen in Zin Zu Corridor: "GLF More for Meeting with the Emperor! 6/8 NEED 2 MONKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

9. While waiting to leave town, the warrior asks how much you think he should try to sell his 13-25 dmg shortbow for?

8. You ask the Necro that just joined the group if he is an mm. He replies: "What's a mm?"

7. ...And your group leader answers, "I don't know what it means, but it's the bestest most awesome Necro build ever and if you aren't running it you aren't a true Necro."

6. You receive a random invite to join a group and as soon as you join the leader warps into the mission, even though you've just said, "please wait, setting build". (This same leader later criticizes you for entering the mission with a running build.)

5. The only surviving member of your team after a bad fight uses his rez signet to revive a ranger with no rez.

4. The player next to you in the fight compliments you on your "neato cool armor" then asks if he can buy it from you. He then proceeds to open a trade window with you while you're fighting the mobs at Viznuah Square.

3. Your Assassin party leader invites 5 more Assassins to join the team because "sins r the kewlest ever!!"

2. Your party leader has "Poopyhead" as part of his character name.

......And the #1 sign you're in a bad PUG?.......

1. You warp into the Fissure of Woe and your only monk pings...
"I'm wielding a Fiery Dragon Sword of Defense and a Shadow Shield"
....before he immediately charges into the first mob.

What about "I'm using Healing Signet!" followed by "I'm using Frenzy?" ?!?!
Surely that deserves a position in the top 10?

lol Heal Sig+Frenzy is 1337 though!!!

#1 is true, had that happen a couple times though there were 2 monks, and i was the one that DIDN'T run in... pain in the arse. >.<

Another thing that should belong here is when you end up as party leader - and discuss tactics before entering a mission like Grand Court of Sebelkeh, only to find that 1) People run out of the circle before everyone has loaded in and 2) They each run their seperate ways despite all agreeing on the same tactics beforehand.

I find bad pugs as entertaining and a pain at the same time but hey that's why we have henchies

I actually got into a pug that had a group leader that said he read that monks are the best healers in the regardless of their level or attribute distribution and thinks a lvl 10 monk is "FAR" superior to a lvl 20 ritualist. I was ROFLMAO when I heard this lol.

there was another pug that wanted a MM in an area that lacked corpses to exploit and invited 3 MM. lol

You know you're in a bad pug when you get a wanna be elitest who whines the whole way through because everyone else doesnt play 16 hours a day or they aren't running the persons cookie cutter build and expects a lot from pugs.

"GOGOGOGo!" spammer, when you're setting up group or tactic talk.
"I'm wielding l33t weapon of whatever!" spammer, when you're inside the mission.
"Show sword/bow/axe etc please" while you're fighting 2 mobs.
"I gotta eat brb 20 min!" while you're in the middle of a mission/quest.
"I'll heal you all, don't wory. I have HB & mending" said a Wammo.
"But a monk can do dmg as well!" said a Mo/e, follow by a firestorm.

I love #6.

Goes hand in hand with the player that is an action junkie and doesn't let the group heal/regen energy before charging the next mob of mobs.

#5 is all too common, but worse is the "Don't rez me as my signet is gone" and you are the first one rezed anywyas....

One that got left out, is when your party leader refuses to invite monks, stating that if you can't heal yourself you're a noob, especially for missions where you need to keep NPC's alive.
